Our skippers
Our highly trained skippers are capable of operating in challenging environments by day or night. All of our skippers and crew hold all elements of the STCW Basic Safety Training. All of our crew are trained to a high level of medical care and hold an ENG1 medical for seafarers.

‘Scorpio’ is a Humber Destroyer 6.5m RHIB MCA Commercially Coded to Category 3.

Propelled by an Evinrude E-Tec 115 HP single engine with seating for 5 persons Scorpio is powerful enough to make good passages without the fuel cost associated with larger engines.

With a draught of 0.8m Scorpio is a ‘go anywhere’ vessel designed to withstand the rigours of the Bristol Channel and access difficult areas in addition to rough seas.

Fully equipped to the rigorous requirements of the MCA Scorpio is coded to Category 3 (20NM).

Ideal for surveying, scientific study or experiments at sea, carrying personnel, escorting duties or transiting to other destinations Scorpio is the perfect vessel to charter.

Scorpio is a skippered charter vessel only, with lifejackets supplied for each client on board. Drysuits can be hired at a reasonable price.
