Course Details :
This is a non-certificated course for students who wish to undertake the RYA MCA Advanced Powerboat Exam and require preparation training for the exam.
Though there is no time scale we recommend a minimum of two days training. During the first day candidates have the opportunity to evaluate their progress with their instructor and determine whether more training or experience is required prior to taking the exam.
The two days cover the RYA Advanced Powerboat Course, theory to YM standard, a minimum of 1 night passage, close quarter manoeuvers to Advanced Powerboat standard and higher.
Candidates also have the opportunity to focus on areas they think require more work and the instructor will work with each student on their requirements to ensure they are as prepared as possible for the exam.
